Planetfest first-hand + video
There's nothing quite so amazing as watching photos from another world upload onto a giant screen. I have had the privilege of being at two such events: the landing of the Mars Rover Spirit in 2004, and the landing of the Mars Science Lab Curiosity on Sunday.
